Bloomsday Run first Sunday of May! This year it is on the 3rd and it is the 50th Anniversary this year. Go Bloomies!!

• Spokane Lilac Festival (often late April–early May): parades, arts & crafts, garden tours, and lots of springtime lilacs around Spokane.

• Spokane Farmers Market (typically starts/ramps up in May): fresh produce, local vendors, and food stalls (commonly at Riverfront Park/near downtown depending on the year).

• “First Friday” downtown art/entertainment nights: gallery openings, local performances, and extended hours in participating venues (happens on the first Friday of each month).Sp

• Spokane minor league base ball team is the Indians at Avista Stadium: home games, family events, and themed nights on select dates.

• Spring concerts & shows (Spokane Symphony / theater productions): spring programming at the Martin Wold son Theater and other venues—exact dates vary by year.

• Memorial Day observances (late May): veteran ceremonies, memorial services, and local remembrance activities.
